4 Tips for Acing the PSLE Maths Exam

Primary School leaving examination also called PSLE, is an examination which is conducted by the Ministry of education of Singapore for the students who would be learning the primary school and starting with secondary education. Mainly subjects like English, Maths, and science are tested in this examination.

PSLE maths tuition is one such tuition related to this examination that students most opt for. The maths subject is one of those difficult subjects which require that extra push from the student’s side to achieve good grades.

Here is a list of some revision tips when it comes to a PSLE maths tuition which students must follow apart from what they study at the tuition for better results:

  1. With a proper understanding of the current maths level at which the student himself or herself is performing, he or she should revise that difficulty level to get a good hand on the formulas and methods. Here is when the PSLE tutors and parents play a vital part by understanding what their child is capable of.
  2. The tutor and the parents would ensure that the student practices and works on the right area of the subject. For instance, if the student is struggling with part A he should not invest more time in part B, rather should give proper attention in making part A stronger.
  3. There are many common mistakes which the students repeat while practising maths, the tutor and the parents should identify the same and make the student work on these mistakes.
  4. Time management should be taught to the student when it comes to revising for the PSLE exam. And this can be best inculcated by the PSLE maths tuition.

With the above-mentioned tips, any student will be able to score good marks in the PSLE maths exam.
